That was a little cutting from Shalka.
And I know I wrote it, but I don't think it's accurate.
Paul Cornell hinted that Doctor Who was the original (you might say) in the first iteration of Human Nature. Of course the canon nature of the NAs remains somewhat in flux. In fact now that I think about it, I wish I'd had a NA version of the 7th Doctor be the one pulling the Infinites' strings.
Damn it, now is not the time to be having new ideas...
But, personally, I think Chibnal dragged the NAs into the main continuity when he brought Ace back into the fold. The Master's comments certainly hinted at that.
I could have made him slightly older. He'd look like McCoy in the TVM, but be wearing a worn in version of the white suit. No. No, I'm not doing this.
And of course the 9th has been part of continuity since 2005, but he certainly looks at home with the Infinites, doesn't he? You can see Ness having fun with his facial expressions.
You could have folded in a little touch of Grandfather Paradox, he could be the culmination of fan's remembrance of the darker Doctor. Slight hint of Valeyardism. No. No. Put the universe down, Shaw.
So it's only really the Doctors from the comedy sketches that Shalka is having a dig at. I guess.
I can actually see this Doctor in Jim and Ness's style. I've also had a flash of him wearing a black version of 8's TVM outfit. No idea why, but I'm sure that...
No. I'm done.
Two strips left. I've seen one of them. It's not real for me until I see Jim's last one.
