I couldn't help but stick my own take on the Eighth Doctor's amnesia into proceedings. Not that we'll see it in this particular run, but in my head they lob the watch into the Eye of Harmony and when the Master opens the Eye later in the TVM that's what restores the Doctor's memories, albeit retrofitted to the EDA's continuity rather than the NA's.
So, we've had the Star Beast. It was absolutely joyous and the whole family enjoyed it in the Shaw house. Of course there will be a strip in due course about how the Meep now exists in two continuities, because of course there will. I love that Doctor Who is a show where the different versions have no choice but to bleed into each other and than (mostly) no-one really blinks when it happens. My wife cackled quite loudly when the Meep showed it's true colours and even though I knew the reveal was coming that added an extra dimension for me.
Can't wait to see what happens in tonight's episode...
