IN PRINT - 123

Previous In Print   Next In Print

November since we last checked in on this arc huh? Jim's right, it has been a while.

But we're getting back on track. I've got some strips to send to Nesshead and Jim's got plenty to work on just now.

I'm going to be spending the next week updating our navigation links as well as our Reading Order and Archive. So there may be the odd occasion where the front page is actually an old strip. Please bear with us whilst we  mess this up, it'll be better for it in the end!

IN PRINT - 122

                                    Previous Strip      Next strip

Aha!!! A new character! Who is she? Well you can probably work it out if you’ve read the books, but if you don’t then all you need is a little patience and the answer will be revealed soon enough. In other news they’ve revealed the new Doctor’s outfit and I’m a little concerned. They need to get this right and this, in my opinion, is their first misstep. If this Doctor fails, for any reason, then people will always assume it was because she was a woman. Hopefully they’ll adapt it as they go. And I’ve just had an idea for a strip...

The Dressing Room Part 2 - Jim Wilkins

                        Previous Instalment  Next Instalment

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas/Holiday period, I certainly did!

I rather enjoyed The Return Of Doctor Mysterio, it was a nice comedic episode that didn't take itself too seriously. Which was well needed after some of the darker stories of the previous series. Matt Lucas was a joy to watch too! Can't wait to see how he develops in series 10.

Anyway, here we are with another instalment of In Print cheesy fun. Hope you all enjoy and we'll be back again next week to conclude the silliness.

The Dressing Room Part 1 - Jim Wilkins

Previous Strip           Press here for Part 2!

2016 - It's certainly been an interesting year to say the least. Jim here... I haven't blogged in a while. Mike's delighted us with Who's Cat for the last few months which has been an absolute hoot to read as many of you have found due to our phenomenal figures for the website have shown! It's been a godsend while I've been on maternal duties with the birth of my daughter Charlotte earlier this year and being a stay-at-home Dad looking after my two other young boys - Mylo and Alfie.. BUT I'm back drawing a new 3 part adventure for over the holiday period starting today featuring our usual crew and more from our InPrint-Verse. And from all the In Print team we'd like to wish you all a very merry Christmas!

IN PRINT - CURATION Part 6

First   Previous  Next  Latest

Hello!

Yes, we're here. A bit behind schedule, but here.

This week the Doctors are still looking over the misplaced Hitch hikers guide. Next week it's on with the story.

Better go and write it...

On a completely unrelated note; I hate having the cold.

IN PRINT - EPISODE 77

As it happens the similarities between 7 and 12 seem to more than we first suspected. There's the Scottish accent of course (and they are cool), but from what we've seen of the trailers so far there seems to be an underlying darkness to this Doctor and a desire to correct past mistakes that we haven't seen since The New Adventures.

This is looking promising. Very, very promising.

And that's the end of 'The Fall of the Eleventh'. Next week should have been more Infinites, but Nesshead's laptop died and he's at San Diego this week. Apparently there's some kind of Comicon or something on...

If you get a chance you should go and find him and say hi.

We have an unusual strip for you next week and then a couple of guest slots. We'll see you all then.

IN PRINT - EPISODE 76

See? Even the 11th Doctor knows that you don't talk about Series 24.

Although apparently the current BBC Production team doesn't, why else would they use 'Dragonfire'?

And while we're on 'Name of the Doctor' did anyone else get the feeling they were seeing the In Print 'Verse during the Clara montages? For a very brief second I wondered if certain people had been reading the strip. Just for a second.

It seems a bit strange to have 11 join the cast as he's been THE Doctor for pretty much all of In Print's 'life'. /But he's a welcome addition and Jim is clearly having fun drawing him if the upcoming strips are any indication at all.

A short blog today as my house has been sharing a stomach bug. See you all next week.

IN PRINT - EPISODE 75

That actually bothered me.

A lot.

There was a massive amount of build up to it. Years had been spent building up to it and in the end it didn't happen because Clara asked the Time Lords to stop it happening.

Not that I have a problem with a new set of regenerations being granted, there's certainly been precedent, but surely they could have granted them as the Doctor lay dying on the fields of Trenzalore, the transformation into his Time Line having already started. You could have had some fun with the Doctor pulling himself back together, literally, in order to regenerate.

But they went for the crack.

Oh well.

In other news the nice people at Tiny Rebel Games have given us 20 codes for Handles to celebrate his addition to the In Print cast.

Keep an eye on our Facebook group, there'll be a question popping up there in the next hour or so and the first 20 people to respond will get one the codes. So check in and make sure you're a member to be in with a chance!

I've had Handles on my team for ages, I have him levelled up to 50.

Part two next week, see you then!
