Who's Cat 8 - Mike Key

Mike doesn't complain very much, but when he does it's usually because I've made him use Google to find out what the hell I'm talking about in my scripts. Wolsey was the Doctor's cat in The NAs, or more to the point he was Joan's from 'Human Nature' that she gifted the Doctor at the end. That was one of the few things that disappointed me about the New Who adaptation, I would loved to have seen Wolsey. But I'm funny like that. Ask Mike.

Miss Kitty Fantastico drove Mike to Google as well, but to be fair the only reason I had the name handy was because I had been indulging in a 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' marathon. We had a brief discussion about whether we should keep Miss Kitty Fantastico black or adopt the colours from the show. I preferred the original colours, but I love Mike's eye for detail in that regard and that he even thought of it.

In other news I've been drawn into reading some of the other Who comics, you know the ones that aren't written by me and are endorsed by the BBC. 'The Four Doctors' was always going to be a must read for me by virtue of the fact it was a multi Doctor story and that it was written by Paul Cornell. There was another box it ticked, but I'll discuss that more next week once the last issue is out. I'd recommend picking it up if you have a chance.
