We interrupt today's Who's Cat to bring you, well, today's Who's Cat.
This is today's strip, but not the strip I was expecting.
In case you hadn't gathered I just had the pleasure of seeing today's strip along with the rest of you. We had a slight variation of today's strip good to go and Mike seems to have had the idea of tweaking it to make it more relevant to the current series.
The Sonic sunglasses are certainly proving controversial aren't they? I really can't say I'm a fan, but I'm not going to get upset quite yet as I'm pretty sure the screwdriver will be back soon. I believe that for several reasons, the main one being marketing. They've got too many Sonic Screwdrivers to sell in the shops to stop having it advertised on a regular basis on the show itself.
And speaking of the show wasn't 'Under the lake' fantastic? 'Being Human' and 'The God Complex' aside I'm not usually a fan of Whithouse's work, but he knocked it out the park this time. The pacing was perfect and actually had me on the edge of my seat by the time the cliffhanger reared it's head. It was just quite simply good old fashioned Doctor Who and I can't wait to see where it goes tonight.
The Glasgow Doctor Who Society continues to meet weekly during Series 9, but this week we're convening at 'The Flying Duck' just for a change. Still starts at 6.30 though if any of you are local and fancy popping along it'd be great to see you!
